The Heart Remembers: Healing the Lineage of Heartache

Dear Soul Family,

Today I share with you this interesting download regarding heart conditions. I think it is safe to say, an unimaginable amount of people in our world have had physical and emotional heart issues —and three times as many continue to do so today. But let’s take a moment to take a deep dive into the spiritual and metaphysical condition of the heart. Bear with me for a moment here, as I get my points across.

When we think of heart disease, we often picture the usual things we have seen afflict our families or even ourselves. Diseases like clogged arteries, high blood pressure, or family members who suffered the same condition before us. But, what if the story goes deeper than genetics? What if your heart isn’t just responding to your lifestyle — but to the unhealed emotions carried through your lineage? Trust me when I say, it is. Today, I want to take you into the spiritual anatomy of the heart, where the physical and metaphysical meet. Reminding us how our bloodline’s grief, love, loss, and resilience live inside us like sacred memory.

Let’s imagine our heart as a multidimensional organ. By now, most of us are aware the heart is more than just a muscle pumping blood — it is the energetic bridge between the physical and the divine. Again, this perspective is from a metaphysical and spiritual ancestral standpoint. In metaphysics, the heart has always played many different important roles. For some, it is considered the Anahata chakra center. For others, it is the center of love, forgiveness, empathy, and compassion. And as I always like to remind everyone during heart-related healing classes, the heart governs not just our ability to love others, but to love ourselves. This means it rules over our ability to give, receive, and remain open despite pain, trials, and tribulations life presents us with.

Other common knowledge about the heart is that its element is Air, which symbolizes breath, expansion, and the life-force that sustains us. Its archetypes are the Healer, the Mother, and the Wounded Child — each reflecting how love and pain shape our evolution. When this center is constricted by fear, resentment, or grief, it behaves like blocked arteries (does this bring anyone you know to mind). The energy that should flow freely becomes stagnant, and over time, it shows up as physical dis-ease.

Taking the above-mentioned into consideration, it brings us into the meat of my download, the area of emotional and ancestral inheritance which goes beyond genetics. Finally, science now acknowledges epigenetic inheritance — that trauma and emotional stress can chemically alter our DNA and be passed down through generations. I say “finally”, because even though epigenetics was coined in 1942 by Conrad Waddington, the understanding that trauma/emotions influence epigenetic marks, is something that has come into awareness since 2010 and it continues to be deeply studied. Metaphysically, this idea expands into the ancestral field, where the emotional residues of our forebears continue to vibrate within us. For example: a lineage with recurring heart disease may also carry things such as; the story of generations who lived with broken hearts. And, what falls under the category of a broken heart? Experiences such as unhealed betrayals, lost loves, or grief that was never expressed. Other experiences within a lineage with diagnosed heart diseases could also include, families who learned to shut down emotionally to survive, where tenderness was mistaken for weakness, and you were told to “suck-it-up”. And you can also find, ancestors who carried unspoken grief, never given the space to mourn or release. These energetic imprints become patterns of defense within us — not as punishment, but as invitations to heal what our lineage could not.

Let’s take a closer look at what I would like to call, the spiritual anatomy of emotional heartache and distress. When heartbreak is unprocessed, the body becomes its archive, and therefore I have had clients who’s parent for example, might have experienced unhealed mother/father wounds (which would be the emotional wound), so the energetic pattern or result would be fear of intimacy and a closed heart chakra. And from a physical stance, such parent ended up suffering from hypertension and palpitations. And now, many years down the line, my client repeats the same coding. Another prime example I frequently see in my practice is people whose parent’s emotional wound was betrayal or abandonment. So the energetic pattern of this particular parent was experiencing much mistrust and whose heart was always guarded. What was this parent’s physical manifestation? Chest tightness and other heart diseases. My client? Same. What about those whose emotional wound was much generational grief? Their energetic pattern would be carrying much dense energy on their chest and loops of sorrow. And one common physical manifestation for this kind of ancestor was, fatigue and even cardiomyopathy. And their descendant? Have ended up feeling the same and sitting in my healing space.

My Soul Family, always remember the body becomes the messenger of the unspoken, telling us where love was lost and where it still longs to return. Read this again. So what are some of the ancestral patterns we can often find in our lineage? Well, a family history of heart issues often mirrors emotional themes such as: Unspoken love- these are families who rarely said “I love you.” Emotional servitude- those who loved sacrificially, forgetting themselves in the process. Is this you? How about, abandonment wounds- children and partners who are left emotionally unattended and unprotected. And shame of tenderness- especially among us men who were taught that love makes us weak. These patterns become soul contracts. Agreements carried unconsciously through the bloodline until someone awakens to heal them. Our responsibility is to break free from such contracts.

So, if today’s topic sounds all too familiar to you, here’s my little heart-based lineage shadow work invitation for your healing. Shadow work invites us to face these hidden contracts with compassion and curiosity and NOT JUDGEMENT. I want you to ask yourself the following questions and answer them as honestly as you can:

  1. Who in my lineage died of a broken heart — literally or symbolically?
  2. Who could never express love freely?
  3. What repeating relationship patterns exist in my family — betrayal, abandonment, emotional silence?
  4. Where do I resist love, forgiveness, or vulnerability?
  5. How have I armored my heart for safety instead of allowing it to expand for connection?

These questions open the door for transmutation — not just personal healing, but for ancestral liberation. Do you hear me? Healing the heart lineage is a sacred act of remembrance and release, so I invite you into the following inner-child dialogue. Speak to the part of you that first learned love could hurt. Let that child know they are safe now. Each act of love becomes medicine — not only for you, but for all who came before you, and for all those that come after you.

When emotional heartache is acknowledged, something miraculous happens. The energetic heart softens and reopens. Not overnight obviously, but it does. The nervous system calms, allowing stress to release. When emotional heartache is acknowledge and addressed, the ancestral field begins to harmonize, dissolving generations of silent suffering, and the physical body responds — because love, when restored, is the most powerful form of regulation. This is where the real integration from metaphor to actual medicine truly occurs. Healing your heart is not selfish. It is ancestral activism. It’s how you rewrite the narrative that pain once dictated. You are the rhythm returning to the family. You are the one teaching your lineage to love again.

Tonight, when you are relaxed and ready to go to bed, I want you to place your hand over your heart. Take a deep breath and whisper: “I am the healer of my bloodline. I am the heart remembering how to love again.” May your heartbeat echo backward through time, awakening every ancestor who ever forgot the sound of tenderness and love.

To every Mother who had (or will have) a C-Section, and to every Child born from a C-Section— This Is for You. Beloved Soul Family, From my inner-spirit to yours, today I want to speak to you on something I believe is quite tender, and often hidden in the quiet chambers of a woman’s heart — the C-section birth. As some of you might have heard me say many times before, I usually get the most profound downloads and revelations during the very late hours of the night — oftentimes when I’m asleep...

Dear Soul Family, Some pain doesn’t start with us — but it often ends with us. In every family line there are victories and there are wounds: unspoken grief, shame, scarcity, illnesses, patterns of silence. Science calls it epigenetics. Spirit calls it ancestral memory. Either way, as I always like to say, our bones remember what our minds forget. Ancestral Healing is the sacred work of bringing light to those who came before — so the living can walk lighter. When we honor, pray, and elevate...

Beloved Ones, My Soul Family, what I am about to share is not easy to write, nor is it easy to read. Yet, Spirit presses it upon my heart that silence helps no one—least of all our daughters, our sisters, our mothers, and our own inner feminine (for both women and men). This share/download comes to you as a result of a series of incidences I keep seeing on social media, on the news, and stories I hear from people close to me regarding unimaginable pain, abuse, and suffering women are...
